Trading Spaces

One of the biggest crazes these days are the Home Decorating shows. 'Trading Spaces, While You Were Out, etc...' I confess to being an avid watcher and have been inspired in so many ways. However, I still haven't come up with my perfect room and wish that one day I would get the opportunity to have Paige Davis and her Trading Spaces crew come and create an entertaining room of my dreams with me!
However. There are rules. The idea of Trading Spaces is that you are "trading spaces". So you don't get to actually work in, or have any say in what happens in your own home, while you and your team are off working on your friend/family/neighbours home. Scary stuff. Rule #2 is that only a $1000 budget is allowed. And rule #3 is that you can't have any idea what is happening in your home.
Ok, so even if you've never watched the show before hopefully you've gotten the idea here....
If you had the chance to have a professional interior designer come and recreate a room of your choice, following the rules stated above, would you do it? What room would you choose? Bedroom? Dorm room? Living room?.... And if the end result actually turns out to be the room of your dreams, what would it look like?
If the end result turns out to be your worst nightmare; what would it look like?
